Queen's and King's Archery Championship June 19, 2010

About 74 archers took the field to compete for the honor of serving Their Majesties as Archery Champions. All partipants were allowed to try their skill on the full course of 11 challenging shoots. As the top 16 scorers were announced, each was asked if they wished to compete for the Champion titles and obligations. Three finalists chose to step out of the competition: #12 Li Kung Lo, #16 Nest verch Tangwistel (as she has just assumed some major new duties), and Miles de Locwode (from Atlantia). Other archers scoring just out of the finals were: Alexis of Wood's End, Aaron the Arrowsmith, Jehannine de Flandres, Tamsin Whitlocke, Paul (?), and Julienne Ridley. The 16 finalists were addressed by Their Majesties, Edward and Marguerite, then commenced shoot-offs against their seeded competitors. Here are the results:
